The National Come Around for 2010 will be headquartered at the Sam’s Town RV Campground (Boulder Hwy. side), arriving
May 24 and departing May 30.
Preliminary core activities will include tours of the 432d Wing at Creech A. F. B. where the UAV’s conducting combat
operations in Iraq and Afghanistan are controlled and the Nevada Test Site where nuclear tests and other experiments were
conducted. Additional activities will include the USAF Thunderbird Museum and Tactical Threat Display at Nellis A. F. B. along
with shows and buffets in the city of Las Vegas.
We have reserved 20 adjacent pull thru sites, and the campground can easily expand this number as we fill up past the 20.
All sites have full hook ups. Prices have been locked in for May 2010 with 50 amp pull thrus at $27.52 and smaller 30 amp
back in sites for $18.56 (Both fees include appropriate taxes.)
Make your reservation with Jasmin or Annemarie at Sam’s Town (702) 454-8055, letting them know that you are with
the USNA RV group hosted by Bill Bradford. Feel free to come early and/or stay late as they will accommodate your wishes.
Please let me know via email bthetiger@gmail.com or cell (786) 859-2226/4392 when you
make your reservation so I can manage the number of sites being set aside.
I would appreciate hearing from those who would like to participate in the tours of the 432d Wing at Creech and the Nevada
Test Site as soon as possible so that dates and transportation can be coordinated.
Go Navy – Beat Army!!!
